logoMecklerMedia’s Inside 3D Printing Conference & Expo is headed down under in late spring of next year. It’s just been announced that in partnership with Reed Exhibitions Australia, the event will be happening within the Reed Exhibitions’ flagship manufacturing event, National Manufacturing Week (NMW) on May 11-13, 2016, held at the Sydney Showground, Sydney Olympic Park.

This is a perfect matching of events for the two entities as National Manufacturing Week, aside from the obvious in its name, offers the largest showcase each year for eventgoers to learn, share, and network regarding all the latest in manufacturing innovation, information, and inspiration. It should be the ultimate experience combined with Inside 3D Printing, which is a world-leading event in itself.

Accentuating the entire show is that numerous features built on previous events will be part of the event regarding visitors who have accomplished updates on industry trends, sourced innovations, and have placed orders for new products and services.

“Reed Exhibitions is delighted to announce our strategic cooperation with MecklerMedia to co-locate NMW 2016 with the Inside 3D Printing Conference & Expo,” said John Gorton, Executive Director, Reed Exhibitions Australia. “Inside 3D Printing is a world-leading event for a game-changing area of technology.”

“As it evolves, 3D printing technology is transforming almost every major industry–especially manufacturing, where it is already beginning to disrupt existing processes and open up exciting new opportunities for industry. By co-locating with the Inside 3D Printing Conference & Expo, NMW 2016 will give visitors a broader, deeper access to the technologies, strategies and opportunities associated with additive manufacturing. We are confident this expanded offering will maximize the value of participation in NMW 2016 for exhibitors, sponsors, conference delegates, and trade visitors.”

Christoph Rowen, Managing Director, Asia-Pacific for MecklerMedia, commented that the co-location is based on a natural fit between NMW and Inside 3D Printing Conference & Expo, stating that the NMW’s Additive Manufacturing Zone is an obvious choice as the ‘home’ for exhibitors and all involved. He also sees conference delegates understanding the enormous opportunity being afforded as they can also visit the comprehensive NMW exhibition.

3dp_4_2Australia is home to constant innovations in 3D printing and many of the technologies closely associated with it, and because of that we cover many research projects going on in the country from studies being performed in labs, to innovations being created at universities during semester classes and challenges, as well as a multitude of DIY and other hobbyist projects. This event, coupled with the exciting locale of Australia, should prove to be one of maximum excitement and inspiration.
