EuroMold 2014 begins tomorrow, and the exciting announcements keep piling up! The conference, held November 25-28 in Frankfurt, Germany, will feature some big news for the 3D printing world, and we keep hearing about more and more technologies that will be unveiled.

The latest comes from France-based Prodways, which is set to introduce an impressive selection. The company will introduce its line of nine new 3D printers as well as its full range of premium materials.

Prodways_LogoProdways, owned by Groupe Gorgé, is on a mission to “find new routes to successful innovation and production processes by delivering the most effective 3D printers on the market.” That’s a tall order, to be sure, but they seem to be working toward their goals at a solid clip. All of the 3D printers from the company are based on their proprietary MOVINGLight technology, which is based on moving DLP and strong UVA LEDs. The largest of Prodways’ 3D printers are capable of more than half of a billion pixels per layer, allowing for impressive precision. According to Prodways, they’re “the first 3D Printer manufacturer in the world to introduce a moving DLP head allowing the projection of the image to cure as the head moves.”moving-DLP

Prodways will be presenting two series of new ProMakers 3D printers. The L series features machines using photosensitive liquid resins, while the V series utilizes composite materials. All nine printers — eight in the L series and the V6000 — will feature MOVINGLight technology and will debut at EuroMold.

Prodways’ announcement draws particular attention to the ProMaker L5000 and L6000, which are “more accessible machines with smaller production areas, enabling Prodways to reach more markets.”

With their 3D printers, Prodways intends to reach a broad range of users, from the casual 3D printer to the highly precise users in biomedical and other high-tech fields.

To complement their expansive 3D printer line, Prodways will also unveil their full range of materials at EuroMold, including two that will make their first debut. The PLASTCure Materials range will feature 14 materials in total, and about 20 product references. See below for details on the materials and their specifications (click to enlarge):
