It seems as though this is a popular time of the year for companies within the 3D printing space, to launch contests, giving away all sorts of awesome prizes. If you are a 3D designer, than the last few weeks have given you an bee-2opportunity to win anything from 3D printers, to gift cards, to 3D printed objects. Yesterday we announced CGTrader’s Easter 3D Printing Challenge, and today we are happy to announced yet another 3D printing challenge.

Yesterday BeeVeryCreative, the first Portuguese 3D printer manufacturer, announced the launch of their “3D Print World Challenge,” in which they will offer six great prizes, including three BeeTheFirst 3D printers, with 8 spools of printer filament each, and three 3D printed trophies.

The contest will run for two months, until June 17th at 11:59 pm (GMT), and is sponsored by 3DPrintShow, Modalisboa, and 3DArtistOnline. Representatives from all three sponsors, along with BeeTheFirst will judge the 3D models based on creativity, awesomeness, and their ability to be 3D printed on the BEETHEFIRST printer. Entrants must design their own 3D printable model of an object in STL format, and it must fall in any of the following categories:

  • Architecture
  • Design (fashion, jewelry, decoration, art)
  • Utilities (gadgets, household and office devices, games)
