Due to the success of last year’s event, 3DPrint.com, along with SmarTech Markets Publishing, will be co-hosting the second annual Additive Manufacturing Strategies Summit, titled “The Future of 3D Printing in Medicine and Dentistry,” next month in Boston, Massachusetts. The peer-driven, small-scale event will focus on 3D printing applications for medical and dental professionals for three days, from January 29-31 at the Hynes Convention Center.

Luckily, you still have the chance to take advantage of a special 35% early bird discount to attend next month’s seminar and exhibition. Various levels of registration for this can’t-miss event are still available, from ‘seminars only’ to workshops and ‘exhibit hall only,’ and if you complete your registration for the event by this Thursday, December 13th, you can save an extra 35% off the cost, no matter which level you choose. In addition, there are also special educational and group discount rates available for purchase.

The Additive Manufacturing Strategies Summit will take place at Boston’s Hynes Convention Center.

This is a pretty great deal, as the 2019 AMS summit will be jam-packed with things to do. First, there are currently a total of eight exhibitors scheduled to be at the Ultimaker-sponsored event, including Twikit, TRUMPF, Structo, and Arfona, among others, with several additional companies expected to join as well.

Event attendees will have several chances to network with these exhibitors during coffee breaks, meals, and the cocktail hour that will be held in the exhibit hall before the Startup Showdown at 6:15 pm on January 30th. Speaking of the startup competition, the lucky winner will receive a $15,000 SAFE investment from Asimov Ventures and an interview with 3DPrint.com.

Applications for the competition are still being accepted through the end of today, December 12th, from seed-stage startups and entrepreneurs working in medicine and dentistry; winners will be selected and informed by December 19th. The top five finalists will receive free admission to the conference on January 30th and have the chance to pitch their business proposals for five minutes each to several judges, including Jessica A. Zeaske, the Director of Healthcare Investments at GE Ventures, and 3D printing expert Tyler Benster.

If the exhibition, networking opportunities, two pre-conference workshops, and a startup competition aren’t enough to convince you to attend the 2019 Additive Manufacturing Strategies summit in Boston next month, maybe the 36 world-class speakers will do the trick. Just some of the many speakers who will be featured at this year’s AMS summit include:

  • Dr. Joseph Lipman, Director of Device Development at the Hospital for Special Surgery
  • Carolyn DeVasto, Global Vice President of Communications, BIOMODEX
  • Sam Wainwright, Dental Product Manager at Formlabs
  • Scott Dunham, SmarTech’s Vice President of Research
  • Jennifer A. Prioleau, Assistant General Counsel at HP Inc
  • Maria Esquala, a leader and volunteer with e-NABLE
  • Dhruv Saghal, Head of Business Development & Sales at Structo
  • Michael Gaisford, Director of Medical Solutions, Stratasys

Additive Manufacturing Strategies has become the world’s largest 3D printing event solely devoted to medical and dental 3D printing applications, and is meant for business attendees who are or will be using 3D printing in their enterprises.

Don’t forget: if you complete your registration for the 2019 Additive Manufacturing Strategies by this Thursday, December 13th, you can save an extra 35% off the cost. Additionally, you can still turn in your application for the startup competition through the end of today.
