Celebrate Halloween with 3D Hubs: 3D Printable Gadgets, Masks, and Pumpkins!

It’s that time of year again. My favorite time of year. It’s the combination of the weather, which is now placed firmly in the middle of autumn, and of course, the end of the month arrival of that wonderful tradition: Halloween. Now, not all Halloween paraphernalia is equal, and there is so much out there to commemorate the day. Here at 3DPrint.com, we know that not all 3D design is equal either. If you are looking for something to print here at the last minute to acknowledge this day, we’ve waded through 3D Hubs‘ curated Halloween Collection of gadgets, masks, and pumpkins.  Here are some of our favorite 3D Hubs models.

 Wolverine Claws

We kick off our review with a really cool pair of Wolverine Claws designed by @leFabShop’s Samuel N. Bernier. These claws can be worn alone, to suggest an inconspicuous wolverine, or you can add them to any costume for that extra special effect. Files for the claws are available here.

Cat Armor

@printthatthing has designed the perfect answer to the pressing question of what your cat will wear for Halloween. Clearly, you need to print a set of armor and parade your cat around the neighborhood for some trick or treating and just plain showing off. This cat’s name is Bobo, and there’s a useful YouTube video of the print here.  You can also get the files for printing the armor on Thingiverse here.

Viking Spider House

This eerie house designed by Arian Croft, or dutchmogul, can be ordered directly from Thingiverse. The house is printed in black ABS plastic at a .1 layer height with 10% infill. Superglue was used to assemble the pieces and acrylic paints were used to get the spooky effect of the house’s mostly dark colors.

Jason’s Mask

This mask is none other than a replica of Jason’s hockey-style mask from the epic slasher film series, Friday the 13th. Designed by Alan Stanford, the mask has four printable parts that, when assembled and painted, do a pretty good job of conjuring up those crazy nights at Camp Crystal Lake.

Dr. Interchangeable Face-Parts Face Halloween Mask

This is a mask designed to be worn with Mr. Potato Head face parts for a fun and slightly askew look this Halloween season. Dr. Interchangeable Face-Parts is designed by Tom7, and it’s easy to print. You just need a good piece of elastic to attach it to your face, and some of those Mr. Potato Head pieces. I am sure you have some lying around, right?

LED Low-Poly Mask

This mask is pretty captivating, as it is uses 5mm RGB LED Adafruit lights. The design, by NewYork3R, is kind of a spin-off of Michael Myers’ Halloween mask. But this one has a more geometrical design. This mask has been downloaded 1,865 times, so maybe you’ll be lucky enough to see one out this Halloween. Or go ahead and make your own by going to Thingiverse. You still have some time before trick or treating commences.

Ninja Pumpkin Candy Bucket

Any review of 3D printed Halloween items would not be complete without a jack-o-lantern of some kind. And this one is special because it’s a ninja pumpkin candy bucket. I need one of these candy buckets. I love ninjas and if I owned one it would sit prominently in my home year round — filled with candy. The bucket, which is made from 5 different pieces assembled together, ends up looking really slick.
