3DPrint.com is excited to offer another new 3DPrint.com course, 3D Printing in Metal, March 27-April 10. Read on to learn what to expect during this three-week interactive online experience if you’ve registered or are considering signing up soon.

Over the past years, we’ve offered a range of invigorating courses from beginners to advanced design classes. This year, we are creating focused courses in addition to our more general design courses. On the roster for 2018 is our new 3D printing in metal course, which will provide an overview of additive manufacturing with metals.

This course has been created to optimize the best of live conferences with the intimacy of small group workshops. Each week, you will hear from leaders in the 3D printing in metal world who will deliver live keynote presentations on topics that share the key principles of metal additive manufacturing. Our speakers will cover everything from design through execution, highlighting key concepts, demoing tools, and modeling techniques along the way. In addition, everything in our weekly meetings is facilitated by our course mentor, who will guide you through the coursework each week, and answer any of your pressing questions.

The online classroom is where all of the action happens for the course. From there, you can access our live keynotes, our discussion boards, our weekly assignments, and communicate with mentors and other participants. Our live keynotes are archived in the classroom, so you can access them even after they air, whether you want to go back and rewatch, or in case you miss the live presentation. In our discussions, you can expect to be met with ongoing support from your small group mentor, as well as engaging conversations between participants. This collaborative environment provides a space in which participants can learn and build from each others’ creativity and troubleshoot problems that may arise while working with new tools and programs.

3D print in metal is a practically applicable skill, and we ask our participants to put their newly-honed skills to use with project-based homework. The course culminates in this opportunity to present project ideas you’ve acquired from the inspiration of the array of creative ideas developed by your peers.

The courses offer an incredible opportunity to develop your knowledge and engage with the fascinating experts and useful technology of 3D printing in metal in a supportive, productive environment.
