This week’s top 3D printable models from 3DShare — the popular 3D file marketplace — feature a further expansion on the sexy jello wrestler theme that designer Richard Swika already started on the 3D Share website. For those who prefer more functional and less purely “decorative” items, there’s possibly something here for you, too. Also included in this week’s models are a funky iPhone case with gears, a compartmentalized tea cup (think space for honey, bag, cookie, etc.), a tea light holder in shape of a tornado, and an unique toilet paper holder. Each of these designs is available to download for 99 cents.

Sexy Jello Wrestlers

jello

Nude jello wrestling is as American as apple pie in some circles. This model from Richard Swika is an extension of  previous jello wrestling figures from this consistently controversial designer. In the above photo, “Camie vs. Sharon, Round 3,” we see two nearly nude women battle it out in a pool of red jello (I prefer green jello, myself). This model prints in 5 to 6 hours with support that’s easy to remove with wrestlers printed at .1 mm layer with manual support and the jello pool printed at .2 mm layers with no supports. There are three in this collection, which has expanded to include several models, so get it while its hot (or chilled, that is). A free jello pool comes with it, too. Watch the video below to get a more complete idea if you are having difficulty grasping the concept.

Case iPhone with Mechanism

gear

Shifting gears from nude jello wrestling to iPhone cases, the next top 3D printable model is an iPhone case with what reminds me of Leonardo da Vinci’s gear system, designed by “ooscar8.” If you are a mechanically inclined person who likes to be reminded of the stuff that makes things work behind the scenes, then you should check this case out. After all, we never tire from the diverse 3D printed cell phone cases that are out there, do we?

Perfect tea cup

tea

If your idea of a perfect tea cup is from your grandma’s vintage china collection, then this model from designer “Pietro” is a whole different take on creating the perfect experience of drinking tea. It features small side compartments on the cup that allow you to store all that you usually need to drink a cup of tea: honey, a spoon, tea bag, lemon wedge, and don’t forget a cookie, too. A far cry from the slow late day British process of preparing a tray for tea time, this cup is a modern take on a classic ritual. The only thing that is missing from it is the hot water itself!

Tornado (TeaLight Holder)

light

From tea time to tea lights, this next model is made to fit all standard tea lights up to 60mm in diameter. The holder is 15 x 15 x 16 cm and is designed by Castomized. The unique tornado design is fitting as the climate heats up and we see more adverse weather, or you may just be adverse weather buff who likes to light some candles and watch the storm come in. Either way, your tea lights can have a new home now, as Castomized has made this easy to print, thanks to 3D Share.

Toilet paper holder

paper

Toilet paper doesn’t have to go on one of those annoying holders that involve the spring contraption, does it? While designer Tosh suggests this simple holder can be used to hold spare rolls, if your bathroom is missing a holder at all, it’s likely you’ll find this 3D printable holder a perfectly functional item. It can’t get any simpler, can it? A white plastic small shelf like apparatus that you can nail to your wall which is designed as a mini toilet paper roll.

Let us know which of this week’s collection of top models is your favorite in the 3D Share Models forum thread over at 3DPB.com.
