prodwaysProdways has taken the ball and run with expansion plans for parent company Groupe Gorgé, running a full year ahead of projected goals for its role in “managing the company’s deployment via a distribution and support structure network” in the United States.

Founded in 1990, Groupe Gorgé is based in France and is a large, impressive family run operation. With over 1300 employees and offices maintained in 10 countries, they are industrial-based, and specialize in several areas of importance.

downloadThis is a company bearing enormous responsibility in the products they provide to their client base as they develop safety solutions for environments involving great risk — like hostile and restricted areas. With production of drones for all situations whether on land or submerged in the ocean, one of their specialties is in the development of mobile robotics. Also involved in complex industrial projects like that of multipurpose fire trucks and more, Groupe Gorgé has also worked on intricate and specific projects like producing high-security doors for protection measures in nuclear environments.

With a division also committed solely to 3D printing and distribution of their products and materials, Groupe Gorgé is a supplier for several international 3D printing manufacturers. Involved in the industry since 2013 when they acquired Prodways (founded by Dr. André-Luc Allanic), their client base is heavily integrated in the industrial sector as well as dental and medical.L5000-1

Since acquiring Prodways, Groupe Gorgé has accentuated the subsidiary with the development of MOVINGLight technology. Rounding out their 3D printing division by purchasing company DeltaMed in 2014, they are now in the business of developing photoresist resins also, with a current in-house supply of 30 additional resins.

Prodways in the United States will open doors in March, headquartered in Minneapolis. Under the leadership of the experienced Paul Anfison and three other managers, the North American subsidiary will be responsible in handling and advising customers regarding pre-sales and offering technical support services for their 3D printing solutions.

With six other international distribution agreements recently signed and expected to be underway this next quarter, Prodways has also just announced that they have signed a distribution agreement in South Korea.impression-3d-main

The company has been thriving in 3D printer sales with five machines already sold in 2015. Going to France, the US, Germany, South Korea, and Canada, printers being shipped out consist of four Promaker L 5000s and one V 6000.
