NEW features include automatic-leveling, removable, magnetic glass-ceramic build plates, and more

Since INTAMSYS released the FUNMAT HT at “Formnext 2016” convention in Frankfurt, Germany, the printer has been praised for its high-performance functional material printing capabilities, especially using PEEK and ULTEM™ (PEI), as well as carbon fiber composites.

During the “Formnext 2018” show, INTAMSYS displayed its new, innovative machines, with the FUNMAT PRO 410, and added new PEKK and PEEK-CF filaments to its materials portfolio, opening up many new opportunities for high-performance, functional applications.

INTAMSYS (meaning “INTelligent Additive Manufacturing SYStems”) is a manufacturer of smarter, easier-to-use, industrial 3D printers, specializing in high-performance functional materials like PEEK, PEEK-CF, PEKK, ULTEM, PPSU, and engineering materials like PC, PA, PA-CF, ABS.

In the latest release of the already-popular FUNMAT HT, INTAMSYS engineers designed new build plate sensors to design the new automatic-leveling process. Utilizing a mechanical system to level the build plate at 160°C, the printer controller applies algorithms and adjusts the build plate position during production, which is especially important for high temperature materials. This “Enhanced FUNMAT HT” automatic leveling smart feature brings higher performance to 3D printing, and makes it much easier and safer to use.

In addition, an easily removable magnetic glass ceramic build plate was added. The new build plate enables higher heating efficiency and less thermal deformation of filaments—and it is also easier to use with the magnetic releases. These significant improvements result in higher print precision, speed, and equipment reliability.

Based in Shanghai, the INTAMSYS engineering team constantly provides technology innovation, to improve their high-performance industrial 3D printers. Their FUNMAT HT machines bring impressive solutions to the 3D printing industry, giving infinite possibilities to leading customers in aerospace, automotive, medical, and research industries world-wide.

INTAMSYS operates a number of manufacturing and research facilities and is committed to the highest design and manufacturing quality standards. The INTAMSYS vision is clear: Create Infinite Possibilities to Customize Our Future Life!
