Each week we feature the top 3D printed models from 3D Share’s website. This week’s top printable 3D Share models are all practical items or games that have a use beyond the decorative or collectible model categories. This includes many handy items that can be used around the house, including: a spray bottle dip guard, a fun slider puzzle, a trash can, feet for your IKEA LACK table, and finally, a modular diamond pen holder.

Spray Bottle Drip Guard

drip

This inventive design helps you avoid getting your skin harmed if you are spraying a bottle that contains harmful chemicals. Spray bottle nozzles are right above the trigger, so drips can hit your finger. This spray bottle drip guard by michaels43s fits over most spray nozzles on bottles and catches any drips. That way you can do your housework mess free!

Slider Puzzle 3 x 3

puzzle

This old school puzzle is fun to use, with the object of the game to get all of the numbers 1-8 in order. It also looks fun to 3D print, as it’s not too difficult and will print rather quickly.  Having said that, if you check out the 3D Share page, its instructions are pretty lengthy for such a small item!

Trash Can

User jcbroman has delivered a useful and practical household item model design for our weekly 3D Share review. This week “Handy Trash Can” (the photos is obviously scaled down) can be used every day; and you’ll also be reminded to separate your trash by the recycle emblem on its front. In fact, you can print out several for glass, paper, plastics, etc!

Lackness

The iconic IKEA side table, LACK, gets a 3D printed touch with Castomized’s low poly leg covers. 129 x 143 x 160 mm in dimension, these little leg covers add a monstrous touch to this most basic of tables in whichever color you chose. Go from LACK to LackNess thanks to this awesome design on 3DShare.   This would be great for anyone with children, in my opinion.

Modular Diamond Pen Holder — Micro!

pen

This colorful diamond design that is used as a pen holder is also 3DShare user Bassna’s entry into the Micro M3D Competition.  You can print out as many in as many colors as you want– and there’s also optional connectors which allow for the modules to be connected. There’s a Youtube video about the project here.

There you have it, our favorite 3DShare models for the week!
