There are only so many pure play 3D printing stocks, trading here in the U.S., for investors to choose from. Most of the companies are established larger scale firms such as 3D Systems (DDD), Stratasys (SSYS), and tink2VoxelJet (VJET). These are all obviously growth companies; after all, the 3D printing space is growing very rapidly, surpassing the wildest expectations that analysts had provided only a few years ago. Having said this, It can be extremely rewarding to get in, on close to the ground floor of a company’s business.

Yesterday afternoon a small cap 3D printing company, Tinkerine Studios, which has been trading in Canada (CVE: CA:TTD) for quite a while, began trading here in the U.S under ticker symbol (TKSTF). As a leading Canadian 3D printer manufacturer, Tinkerine has just begun establishing themselves as a supplier of affordable, yet high quality consumer oriented 3D printers, mainly to Canada and the United States.
