DH2i Webinar on Securing IoT Networking

DH2i, which providers multi-platform Software Defined Perimeter (SDP) and Smart Availability software, is holding a live webinar, “Introducing DxOdyssey for IoT: How to Secure IoT Networking,” this Wednesday, November 11th, at 2 pm ET. According to the company, it only takes five minutes to attack an IoT device once it’s connected to the internet, but DH2i recently released its SDP solution DxOdyssey for IoT, in order to fight back against the security issues that come with adoption of IoT. During the webinar, attendees will learn how to use this solution to achieve higher levels of security for IoT data, communications, and operations, as well as how it can simplify IoT implementation.

“Research predicts there will be 80 billion connected IoT devices generating 180ZB of data by 2025. Many organizations are adopting IoT technology as it promises countless business opportunities, yet 97% of IoT adopters have security concerns when implementing IoT. With so much data constantly moving between devices and networks, organizations need a reliable IoT security solution to protect their sensitive data.

“Join DH2i’s Connor Cox for a live webinar to explore this new IoT network connectivity solution.”

RIZE Desktop Composite 2XC 3D Printer Webinar

Also this Wednesday, November 11th, RIZE and The 3D Printing Store (3DPS) will be holding a webinar from 2-2:30 pm ET about the adaptive RIZE 2XC desktop 3D printer. The webinar will be discussing the “professional industrial composite” system, focused on the user experience. The topics will include Rizium advanced composite materials for printing strong, durable, functional parts, as well as the reliability, quality, and safety that the affordable 2XC offers, for under $5,000.

  • The Zero-Headache 3D PrinterEasy to get started with no dry box, no venting, minimal post-processing and a multitude of smart and convenient features.

  • Superior 3D Printing Safety
While most other 3D printing materials & processes emit dangerous particles and vapors, RIZE 2XC & Rizium composite materials are uniquely developed to meet the highest health and safety standards enabling you to print safely from home, the office or right at the point of care.

You can register for the webinar here.

Digital Twin Summit Powered by ASME

From November 11-12, you can attend the Digital Twin Summit, powered by ASME, and pegged as the ‘Premier Industrial Event for Leaders in Virtual Work.’ During the virtual summit, attendees will have the chance to collaborate with industry peers and subject matter experts working to adopt a digital-first vision in their produce life cycles. You’ll have the chance to learn how you can use virtual work to achieve a variety of objectives, such as identify operating risks, improve the quality of your product, lower operation and maintenance costs, speed up product development, create new revenue streams, and more.

“According to the 2019 Gartner IoT Implementation survey, 62% of organizations with IoT capabilities are implementing digital twins. Recent global disruptions have proven that data-driven manufacturing organizations are increasing their competitive edge.

“Does your organization have the agility to compete at the speed your customers demand?”

You can register for the event here; the rate for ASME members is $299, and goes up to $349 for non-members.

Formnext Connect 2020

Formnext, the largest annual event in the additive manufacturing industry, has become Formnext Connect this year, and it’s going to be chock full of webinars, virtual panels, keynote presentations, and more. GE Additive is holding a total of five webinars during the event, with the first two—about raw material quality requirements for medical AM and EBM for material research—taking place on Monday, November 9th, the day before Formnext Connect officially launches. On Tuesday the 10th, the webinar will be on the Concept Laser M2 Series 5, and the last two, regarding the Arcam EBM Q10plus and the X Line 2000R, will take place on Wednesday the 11th. Also on the 11th, CASTOR is holding a product launch webinar for its new software solution, and later that day, BE-AM will host a symposium showcasing the latest AM updates in the built environment.

On the 10th, 11th, and 12th, independent specialists from ACAM – Aachen Center for Additive Manufacturing will be hosting the Discover3Dprinting seminar series, and you can join voxeljet AG at 3 pm on the 10th in a virtual roundtable about leveraging binder jetting for additive serial production, before heading over to 3DPrint.com’s 3DPod Serendipity Bar at 4 pm to discuss the event with 3Doodler’s Max Bogue and our own Joris Peels, who host the popular 3DPod series. On the 11th, you can check out Boeing’s presentation on its recent AM advances at 4 pm, and on the 12th, there’s a sponsored panel session by Link3D at 6 am on Digital Transformation to Enable Operational Excellence. At 9:30 am on the 12th, Thermo Fisher Scientific will be discussing Tools for Additive Manufacturing, and at 1:30 that same day, BASF 3D Printing Solutions will talk about how to enable cost-efficient mass-scale AM with new photopolymers.

That’s only a small percentage of all the virtual content you’ll be able to enjoy at this week’s Formnext Connect. Check out the rest of the event schedule here!
