There is one thing better than wishing — and that’s winning. It’s the season of giving, and while you are busy doing that for others, Shapeways may have something very nice in store for you as a daily winner — or perhaps as a grand prize winner of $500 store credit.

As the holiday season starts to pick up steam and we all try to find more hours in the day to fit in plans and shopping, Shapeways is offering a great way to save time and find wonderful gifts in a one-stop shopping experience.

One winner for the Shapeways Holiday Wishlist contest will be chosen daily, Monday through Friday, for posting what they most want. With the contest ending on November 23rd at 11:59 p.m. ET, the grand prize winner will be chosen to receive store credit totaling $500 for printing items off their Shapeways wishlist. What a great way for everybody to add a new dimension to their holiday wishing and shopping.

What do I do? Have fun. Just start a wishlist on Shapeways. Make sure you’ve got your work out of the way first, because you can get lost for hours shopping at Shapeways. There, you have your choice of a multitude of elegant items from 3D printed TARDIS earrings for your favorite Doctor Who fan to perhaps a pair of trefoil cufflinks for that special man in your life.

If you feel like veering off the beaten garden path for a unique gift, check out the pitcher plant set, I really liked that (hi Mom!), as well as the bulldozer mug, which should please any of the caffeine junkies on your gift list.

My favorite for the kids (or a ‘big’ kid) is the balloon race car. It’s the perfect toy that does not require batteries, and introduces kids to the world of what 3D printing can do. There are also, just to name a few, model trains, board games, puzzles, and a whole section devoted to ‘My Little Pony.’

'Wishlist' an item at ShapewaysTo wishlist an item, it’s as easy as clicking on ‘wishlist’ after double clicking on the item to get a good look at it. You can access your wishlist by clicking on your lists. To count toward the contest, be sure (and we know this will be a really hard condition) to have at least 10 items on your wishlist.

Next, hit the social media! Share your Shapeways wishlist on Facebook or Twitter, and be sure to mention @Shapeways. Use the #ShapewaysWishList hashtag, too!
