In terms of expansion and new partnerships, Sigma Labs is one of the busiest companies in the 3D printing industry. It seems to be on nearly a monthly basis that the company is announcing that it has signed a new distributor or other partner, and this month is no exception. Sigma Labs is now expanding its services in the Northwest United States through a new partnership with JETA Enterprises, a Washington-based provider of custom engineered components.

Founded in 2000, JETA Enterprises is based on a foundation of expertise in custom engineered components, and its team members pride themselves on being able to recommend the optimal manufacturing processes for their customers after reviewing specific parts and quantity levels. JETA Enterprises’ customers include several companies in the medical device and aerospace industries, and the company will now be acting as a manufacturer’s representative for Sigma Labs’ contract 3D printing and additive manufacturing services.

Sigma Labs, for its part, is happy to be expanding into new industries through JETA Enterprises’ customer base.

“We are pleased to add Jeta Enterprises to our growing cadre of manufacturer’s representatives, especially as it complements our expansion of services into the flourishing Aerospace and Medical Device industries,” said Ron Fisher, Sigma Labs’ VP of Business Development. “We believe that this exciting relationship will advance our goal of expanding our footprint through synergistic relationships designed to yield substantive and long-term benefits for both of our companies and our clients.”

Sigma Labs offers a wide range of services, including metal 3D printing using the EOS M290 Direct Metal Laser Sintering System. The company provides assistance to its customers at every stage of the additive manufacturing process, from design for 3D printing to prototyping and manufacturing of metal components. Sigma Labs is probably best known, however, for its PrintRite3D process control and quality assurance software, which allows users to monitor their parts throughout the additive manufacturing process and catch any defects early on, minimizing waste and ensuring that they’re ending up with the best quality parts possible.

JETA Enterprises already serves as a manufacturer’s representative for companies that offer CNC and precision machining services, and the partnership with Sigma Labs now allows the company to add 3D printing to its range – a welcome addition that has the potential to expand its customer base.

“Jeta Enterprises is honored to represent Sigma Labs 3D metal printing in the Pacific Northwest, a major hub of Aerospace and Medical manufacturing,” said Rhodes Gustafson, President and Owner of JETA Enterprises. “We will be pursuing opportunities that fit the capabilities and strength of Sigma Labs and build the confidence of our customers that additive metal technology is key to their future growth and prosperity.”
