Rising Media & 3DR Holdings Purchase Inside 3D Printing & RoboUniverse International, Gearing Up for Singapore Jan. 26-27
Global events producer Rising Media and 3DR Holdings LLC have purchased MecklerMedia’s Inside 3D Printing and RoboUniverse international events. This announcement comes just as many around the world are gearing up to attend–and serve as sponsors for– the Inside 3D Printing Singapore event on January 26-27, 2016.
Following the dissolution of MecklerMedia, many speculated on who would vie for purchase of the largest 3D printing trade shows in the world as just last month Inside 3D Printing events for the US, including the San Diego and New York events, were purchased by Rising Media as well.
“We’re delighted to have found such a good home for the US editions of both trade shows and expect to see both US and international editions of the events continue to grow,” said Alan Meckler, Chairman and CEO of MecklerMedia.
3DR Holdings, LLC invests in media properties related to 3D Printing, Robotics and Frontiertech, while Rising Media is an international media producer excelling in Internet and technology-related events and content. It has also been announced that many of the staff from MecklerMedia will join the Rising Media team and help with production of these shows, adding to what should be a seamless transition as the Singapore event looms closer. Familiar faces will provide continuity to sponsors, speakers and attendees.
“Inside 3D Printing and RoboUniverse are fantastic additions to our portfolio of market-leading technology events. Our European team was pleased with the successful launch two years ago of Inside 3D Printing in Germany. Adding the successful US and Asian events to our portfolio creates a great deal of synergy,” said Matthew Finlay, Founder and CEO of Rising Media.
Quite a long list of sponsors and exhibitors has just been released for the upcoming Inside 3D Printing Singapore event. Companies at the event will include:
- HP, Inc.
- SLM Solutions
- UCT Additive Manufacturing Center Singapore

- Shenzhen Esun Industrial Co., Ltd.

This marks the third edition of Inside 3D Printing, to be co-located with RoboUniverse, serving as Singapore’s only major annual 3D printing event this year. Passes are free with advanced registration.
