3dp_inside3dp_singapore_logoMecklerMedia’s series of Inside 3D Printing Conference and Expo events have quietly been disrupting the way that 3D printing industry conferences are run. With an exhibition floor full of the best and brightest minds in the industry and an informative series of seminars, the conferences have done a great job making themselves accessible to industry veterans and visitors new to 3D printing at the same time. With eleven 3D printing conferences all over the world, the Inside 3D Printing events are some of the most prolific industry events around, and with the upcoming show in Singapore it is about to become three times better with access to MecklerMedia’s RoboUniverse and Virtual Reality Summit.

Today MecklerMedia Corporation is announcing that HP Inc., the new printing hardware and 3D printing division recently split from the newly organized Hewlett-Packard Enterprise, has confirmed that they will be exhibiting at this year’s Inside 3D Printing Singapore. HP is set to explain how their new 3D printing technology works, as well as showcasing samples printed on HP Multi Jet Fusion laboratory prototype printers, and a series of video demonstrations of its capabilities and technology. A representative from the company will also be leading a seminar discussion about the future of 3D printing as they see it, and how HP’s presence will impact the worldwide 3D printing industry.

HP may be new to 3D printing, but their global sales and distribution network is massive and on a scale that frankly, no one else in 3D printing can touch. A company as large as HP entering into a new, smaller industry is about as disruptive as it gets, and this should be quite an enlightening seminar. While I think HP joining the 3D printing industry will be good for its expansion and growth in general and really expand the reach of additive manufacturing technology, there are several existing 3D printing businesses that should be a little worried about their impending presence in the market.3dp_inside3dp_Singapore_3

Additional companies who have been confirmed as sponsors and exhibitors include SLM Solutions, UCT Additive Manufacturing Center Singapore, Dremel 3D, Engineering Computer Systems, Eye-2-Eye Communications Pte Ltd. and RDP Labs Pte Ltd. You can see a full list of companies exhibiting at the event here.

This will be the third Inside 3D Printing conference taking place in Singapore, and in addition to access to the 3D printing conference, this year’s attendees of the Singapore conference will also have full access to MecklerMedia’s RoboUniverse and Virtual Reality Summits which will be co-located at the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre.

“Following successful previous events, we are excited to return to Singapore for an even larger event that will showcase innovation in not one, but three cutting-edge industries that are shaping modern technology. By offering attendees the opportunity to seamlessly explore 3D printing, robotics, and virtual reality at one event, we aim to break down barriers and encourage invention and innovation that highlights these industries’ synergies. Inside 3D Printing, alongside RoboUniverse and the Virtual Reality Summit, is the premier disruptive technology event in Singapore,” said CEO and Chairman of MecklerMedia, Alan Meckler.
