You have to admire Fernando Sosa’s creative ambition, whether you agree with his political views or not. The Mexican immigrant and owner of PoliticalSculptor.com garnered worldwide publicity for his recent 3D printable model portraying Republican Presidential frontrunner, Donald Trump, as a butt plug. The model, which he made available on Shapeways for just $27.99, angered some, while likely providing a bit of a chuckle to other Republicans and Democrats alike.
If you are familiar with Sosa’s other works, many of which we have covered in the past, he takes a keen liking to the creation of political satire, and has a knack for creating designs to portray actions of politicians within just hours of those actions taking place.
As Donald Trump continues his no-filtered brand of politics, most recently making comments about Fox Political Commentator Megyn Kelly, after she asked him a few poignant questions during Thursday evening’s Republican debate, many political pundits believe he may have gone too far once again.
“You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes,” Trump said during an interview with CNN’s Don Lemon on Friday night. “Blood coming out of her wherever.”
The comments, which clearly insinuated that her questions were the result of her being on her period, set off another firestorm among political pundits in both parties.
To commemorate yet another unfiltered and offensive comment by Mr. Trump, Sosa once again has put his creativity to use; this time via the Donald Trump Tampon Disposal figurine.
“As you can tell by my Donald Trump Butt plug I have no love for Donald Trump. He has stirred a lot of hatred against immigrants and my fellow Mexicans,” Sosa wrote. “However, as everyone can tell Trump took out his Donald Trump mouth plug for the Republican Debate [on] Fox News and when Megyn Kelly showed some journalistic backbone Trump lost his shit (probably took out his butt plug).”
The new satirical figurine measures 6.274 x 3.164 x 6.55 cm and is available is full color sandstone at Shapeways for just $27.99. It depicts Mr. Trump with a white tampon protruding out of his mouth, and the design is based on the one Sosa used for his initial butt plug creation.
Additionally Sosa has released another Trump-inspired piece called the Trump Poop Toupee, which is an interactive three piece model which allows Trump’s famous hair to be removed and replaced with a pile of feces. This figurine is priced at $29.99 and will also be printed using Shapeways’ full color sandstone material.
Whether you love him or hate him, there is no denying that Donald Trump has captured the imagination of Americans in numerous ways. Whether or not he eventually goes on to get the nomination or not, these 3D printed keepsakes will bring laughter to their owners for years to come. Let’s hear your thoughts on these two new models created by Sosa. Continue the discussion in the Trump Butt Plug forum thread on 3DPB.com.
