zverse logoSince its 2013 launch, ZVerse has seen some pretty impressive growth, and the last week has already held some big news, as the company announced its new partnership with 3D Systems as well as a successful round of funding. In the latest from ZVerse, the firm is now ready to roll out its software to a wider audience.

When ZVerse introduced its LAYR 2D-to-3D app in January, the company sought to make 3D content more accessible for those who wanted to bring their two-dimensional content to the hands-on, three-dimensional attention of clients, customers, and anyone else who might come across their branding. The app has proven to be successful in its 2D-to-3D mission, and the logical next step is expanding its reach.layr shot

Today, July 27th, ZVerse has announced the entrance into an agreement with Franchise Services, Inc. (FSI) in order to allow FSI’s franchisees–including those under the PIP, Signal Graphics, and Sir Speedy franchise brands–access to LAYR technology.

“We are thrilled to work with FSI’s full-service printing and marketing franchise locations. Globally, FSI brands have a history of leadership in printing, signs, promotional products and event marketing services. We look forward to adding value to franchisees with our 3D print applications,” said ZVerse’s Chief Marketing Officer, Kevin Maloney.

franserv-logosPIP, Signal Graphics, and Sir Speedy franchisees will now utilize ZVerse’s solutions in order to offer promotional products and materials, as well as a wealth of other offerings, to their customers. Through the use of LAYR technology, franchisees will be able to create custom signs, marketing/promotional goods, architectural models, and other branded goods in a turnkey answer to their creative needs.

Through the partnership, the LAYR platform will broaden its scope of use and appeal, while franchisees functioning through FSI will receive the technology they’ve been looking for to create customized materials–and fast.

“Our Franchisees are excited to partner with ZVerse to offer 3D printing services. ZVerse’s easy-to-use LAYR technology enables our franchisees to offer high-value, high-margin custom printed 3D solutions to their customers,” said Kelly Kimberlin, FSI’s Vice President of Business Development. “They will be able to upload a customer’s 2D image file, produce a fully print ready 3D file from LAYR, and have a fully customized 3D printed order, all within a few days. Their 3D print solutions surpass anything in 3D printing we’ve looked at in recent years.”

layrdsmThe quick turnaround times made possible through 3D printing technology will surely turn a few heads as franchisees seek to offer the fastest, highest-quality products to their customers.
