Can you come up with a unique, high-quality, creative design? NinjaFlex thinks you can and we do, too. As they’re only accepting one entry per person, you super-creative types will have to agonize over which excellent idea gets the final nod. In the spirit of teamwork, we’ve come up with some ideas to inspire you:

3D Printed Easter Eggs:
We love the shiny, “Oriental floral” patterned hollow egg by Shapeways contributor “mkrmol.” We’re also fans of the sandstone 3D printed “Mosaic Egg #7” by another Shapeways designer, “ksims.” Finally, we can’t praise enough this incredible 3D printed egg created by Ogle Models. It was evidently featured in the 2012 Fabergé Big Egg Hunt.

Traditional Eggs:
Speaking of Fabergé eggs, perhaps those of you who are into the top-of-the-line Easter treasure can create something reminiscent of the clever (and expensive) Hen Egg from 1885 or the Gatchina Palace Faberge Egg in the collection of the Walters Museum of Art in Baltimore.

Pysanka Eggs:

Of course, there is the world-famous pysanka or Ukrainian Easter egg. These brightly colored eggs are decorated with traditional Ukrainian folk designs using the batik (wax resist) method. Many Eastern European ethnic groups have their own version of the pysanka but the Ukrainian eggs may be the best known.

Artistic Eggs:

And last but certainly not least, we’re quite taken with these Easter eggs inspired by works of famous artists like Magritte and van Gogh (thanks to Flavorwire for showcasing the collection seen below).
