The idea behind the new solutions is to help dentists and orthodontists have more productive practices with patients being taken care of even more efficiently. The meeting is being held at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City, and promises to keep visitors from within the industry stimulated with numerous events, all focused on dentistry. Along with this, Henry Schein will also be the sponsor behind an event that provides kids in New York City with custom-fitted mouth guards. This will be accompanied with a campaign on social media, with Henry Schein Chairman and CEO Stanley M. Bergman participating.

“At this year’s Greater New York Dental Meeting, Henry Schein is excited to offer practitioners direct access to industry thought-leaders who will discuss the future of dentistry and how to navigate change,” said Tim Sullivan, President, North American Dental Group, Henry Schein.

“The meeting will also be an opportunity for Henry Schein and our partners to demonstrate how we continue to innovate by enhancing the interoperability of products and practice management software to help practitioners connect all things digital. Henry Schein is also committed to serving society, and we are pleased to host student athletes from New York City who will be receiving custom-fit mouth guards to help support their safety on the playing field.”

During the show, those attending will be able to check out all the following technology from Henry Schein:

  • 3D scanners
  • 3D printers
  • Milling units
  • Abutment solutions
  • Materials from digital platform Henry Schein ConnectDental

They will accomplish this through an innovative web-based service, the Digital Dental Exchange (DDX) OS. This creates a way for offices and doctors to both send and manage information from labs. The following will be able to put records of intraoral scans in the Dentrix practice management system:

Those attending the Greater New York Dental Meeting will be able to view all three of these scanners at the event, shown at the Henry Schein Dental Booths #4225 and #4627, as well as the partners booths: Planmeca – #5428; 3Shape – #2626; 3M – #4618. This year represents the 92nd Greater New York Dental Meeting. Discuss in the Henry Schein forum at 3DPB.com.
