It’s that time of year when companies begin offering all sorts of incentives to encourage consumers to consider their products over their competitor’s. With Christmas, Chanukah, and Kwanzaa right around the corner, this is the time of year when consumers are ready to spend money. While some companies offer large discounts, and others offer unbeatable financing deals, German RepRap, a 3D printer manufacturer and distributor has a different trick up their sleeves.
German RepRap has announced today the sale of quite the unique item when it comes to 3D printers. The company has been offering their NEO 3D Printer for €699.00 for quite a while now. This is already a very low price when it comes to desktop 3D printers, so instead of simply cutting the price in honor of the holiday season, they elected to do something else. They put together a Christmas package, called the NEO X-mas edition, and are offering it up on their website.
The NEO X-mas edition includes the NEO 3D Printer, an LED lighting system for the printer, and 3kg of PLA filament (1kg gold, 1kg silver and 1kg translucent). Buyers can then download G-code from the German RepRap Wiki Site in order to 3D print stars and snowflakes. All of this is priced at just €689.99 (including a 19% VAT).
So now, not only can you 3D print your toys this holiday season, but you can do it in grand fashion with a lightshow as well. It will certainly attract all the attention while your guests this Christmas watch a beautiful 3D printing lightshow which will be unlike anything that they had seen before.
As for the specs of the NEO 3D printers, they are as follows:
- Filament: PLA, 1.75mm
- Dimensions (w/h/d): 330 x 330 x 330 mm
- Max object size: (X/Y/Z) 150 x 150 x 150 mm
- Voltage: 110/230V AC
- Power consumption: ca. 50W
- Delivery: Fully-assembled
- Technology: FFF
- Weight: ca. 6kg
- Extruder nozzle size: 0.5 mm
This is certainly an offer that might be too good to pass up on. German RepRap is one of those companies that have been well respected for their quality 3D printers for quite some time now. It’s good to see them coming up with unique ways to spread some holiday cheer this Christmas. What do you think about this holiday offer from German RepRap?
