There’s been a lot of talk about Multi Jet Fusion technology from HP since it was first unveiled last year. The company’s partners have been employing the technology to impressive effect, and have been sharing their results with the public, all saying similar things: This method of 3D printing is like nothing we’ve ever seen before, and it has the potential to change the manufacturing industry. HP has been expanding its business across the globe, and so it’s accurate to say that Multi Jet Fusion is gaining worldwide attention.

With all of the enthusiasm about Multi Jet Fusion 3D printing, it’s understandable to want to know more about it. The webcast, entitled “3D Printing Fundamentals for HP’s Multi-Jet Fusion Materials,” will take place on October 24th from 1:00 to 2:00 PM EDT, and will be led by Dr. Stephen Rudisill, an R&D scientist with HP’s 3D Materials and Advanced Applications group. Dr. Rudisill is responsible for developing materials and supplies for HP’s Multi Jet Fusion Technology, and his work focuses on agent development, fluid/build material interactions, and improving the reliability and performance of current and future Multi Jet Fusion solutions.

During the webinar, Dr. Rudisill will explain how Multi Jet Fusion works, and how future materials sets are developed with HP’s open materials partners to meet manufacturing demands. He will also introduce HP’s voxel-level engineering capabilities from a design and production standpoint.

The webinar is free, and the information it will provide will be valuable to anyone working in 3D printing or manufacturing. It’s not just that the technology itself is so game-changing; it’s HP’s model of open development that has many other major companies in the 3D printing industry reconsidering the way they develop new products and especially materials.

You may have some experience with Multi Jet Fusion yourself, as multiple service bureaus are now offering the technology, and now you have the chance to learn about what exactly went into those parts you ordered.
