Boeing is a terrible company. Right? It depends on what you mean by “terrible” — and, I suppose, what you mean by “company.”
Boeing is less a company than it is an arm of the US government, as well as a brand name attempting to unify the gigantic organism that is the totality of US aircraft production capacity…
Still, none of this (nor the collection of Boeing’s other debacles since) are enough to deem Boeing a terrible firm. Rather, it is simply the most influential and indispensable company in what has, historically, been a terrible sector.
Again, though, this depends on what you mean by “terrible”: more specifically, terrible from whose perspective?
