Headquartered in unassuming Statesville, NC, Keselowski Advanced Manufacturing (KAM) continues to forge ahead in hybrid manufacturing, now announcing they have completed certifications in the following:
- ISO 9001:2015
- AS9100D
These industry certifications take around a year or even more to complete, but the KAM team, along with their founder and CEO, Brad Keselowski, were able to receive their certifications in less than six months.
“When we started the business, we knew one day we would need to have these essential certifications under our belt to do the level of work envisioned with KAM,” said Keselowski. “I am so proud of the entire KAM team for getting this accomplished in such a short amount of time. It’s truly impressive.”
The KAM team has also expanded further with machines and equipment, now bringing in the following hardware:
- Mazak i800 VARIAXIS
- Mazak Quick Turn 350MSY CNC lathe
- Starrett optical comparator
- Vacuum furnace
- (4) additional EOS printers
- Dye penetrant line / inspection line
“These additional investments we have coming down the pipeline really hammer home the power and flexibility of our vertical business model,” states Jim Thompson, KAM director of operations. “Combined with our in-house metallurgical laboratory, metrology, digital radiography and hybrid manufacturing capabilities, we have a wide spectrum of resources available to service our customers’ needs.”
The company expects to continue growing, expanding further as we head into the fourth quarter of this year.
