“We appreciate 3YOURMIND´s agile approach and rapid development to adapt the platform to our needs and business model,” said Tomas Lundström, 3D Business Development Project Manager at PostNord Strålfors. “3YOURMIND´s platform enables automate pricing, order management and customer fulfillment which makes them a partner we can develop with as the 3D business is growing.”
“In the last 2 years 3YOURMIND has been supporting the growth of 3D printing across Europe and around the world,” said Daniel Landgraf, Sr. Sales Manager of 3YOURMIND GmbH. “At PostNord Strålfors we found the same innovative energy for pushing towards a widespread adoption of industrial 3D printing across all Nordic countries.”
Last year, PostNord determined that 3D printing was a necessary addition to its service offering. The technology could be used to address its customers’ evolving needs, by combining on-demand 3D printing capabilities with the 2D printing services native to PostNord Strålfors.
Ylva Ekborn, CEO of PostNord Strålfors Group, said, “At PostNord Strålfors, we aim to be our customer’s digitalization partner, and we constantly need to strive for digital developments and explore new business opportunities.”
The startup’s 3D software platform contains digital 3D workflows, which can optimize utilization of resources, allow for smart AM production decisions, and connect teams and production locations. PostNord is now using the platform to increase its on-demand production, and the partners are also working together to connect data from multiple streams to develop unique and vigorous manufacturing processes to fuel Industry 4.0 growth.
Tomorrow at the Additive Manufacturing Users Group (AMUG) conference in St. Louis, Missouri, Lundström and 3YOURMIND CEO Aleksander Ciszek will be sharing their use case together in a joint presentation. Together, the two will describe how the 3YOURMIND software platform and user generated data are being used in order to automate customized production.
