Right now we are all pretty focused on the RAPID + TCT event currently going on in Pittsburgh, but that’s not the only major 3D printing industry event and conference taking place this week. As promised at the wintry Inside 3D Printing New York in March, global events and media producer Rising Media has announced the full program of events for its upcoming Inside 3D Printing Melbourne conference. The I3DP Australian event was held in Melbourne in 2014 and again in 2015, but it was moved to Sydney, Australia for 2016. The conference will once again return to Melbourne this week, taking place in association with AUSTECH, Australia’s premier Advanced Manufacturing and Machine Tool Exhibition, at the Melbourne Convention and Exposition Centre from May 9-12.
Inside 3D Printing is the largest professional additive manufacturing conference series in the world, with annual event locations held in Seoul, Singapore, Istanbul, Mumbai, San Diego, and many other cities all across the globe. The series is dedicated to exploring business applications across the 3D printing technology ecosystem.
Attendees who visit this week’s Inside 3D Printing Melbourne, with the theme of “Strategies for the 3D Ecosystem,” will have the opportunity to learn about, and explore, 3D printing applications in a variety of fields, including healthcare and medicine, economics, manufacturing, education, product design, film, 4D printing, and more. If you think the conference is only for dedicated 3D printing companies, think again – the event is open to software developers and IP attorneys, architects and inventors, engineers and automotive professionals, fashion, jewelry, and industrial designers, food professionals and makers, and prosthetic specialists.
Experts from Australia and abroad will be exploring 3D printing innovation at the upcoming Inside 3D Printing Melbourne. The wide variety of conference speakers and presenters include Kelvin Wee, the APAC Sales Manager for Materialise; VP and Head of Global Marketing and Communications for SLM Solutions GmbH Stefan Ritt; TRUMPF‘s Industry and Application Manager Additive Manufacturing Lars Neumann; Kae Woei Lim, the Creative Director of Imaginables; and many other speakers.
