Now, ZMorph is in that enviable position of needing to add to and strengthen resources further due to undeniable success in the marketplace. This company, headquartered in Poland and founded in 2013, is one of my favorites to follow because while so many throw the word ‘versatile’ around in their product descriptions, ZMorph truly walks the walk. They have developed the ultimate hardware for users, promising that they’ll most likely never run out of options for 3D printing–and the company itself has described their famed 3D printer as something akin to a Swiss army knife for makers.
Now, with the birth of the ZMorph 2.0 SX, they are indeed calling in for major reinforcements on the office front, and they’ve just announced two new additions to the company: Iain Duncan as Chief Operations Manager and Mateusz Makosiewicz as Chief Marketing Officer.
Iain Duncan, recognized as a leader for control technologies in industry and research, formerly served as Chief Engineer for Future Technology at Selex Galileo. He then went on to create his own robotics company in the UK.
“I became involved with ZMorph at a very early stage in their journey, and I am now very excited to have been invited to join this innovative team, to develop the new ZMorph 2.0 SX and to lead new product design to position ZMorph as a leader in this technology,” says Duncan.
The new CMO, Mateusz Makosiewicz, has been involved in 3D printing since 2009, and he has also written and given lectures on the topic. In 2015, he joined Zortrax as Head of Marketing. Previous to that he also led marketing at UXPin—a unique Polish company that established itself in Silicon Valley in the design and prototyping field.
“The desktop digital manufacturing paradigm proved to be effective and is here to stay – 3D printers played the lead role in making that happen,” says Makosiewicz. “What’s next is as exciting as the legend built around the origins of this industry, because the market is ready for more developed forms of this paradigm – and that’s what we want to deliver.”
“ZMorph enhances what everybody knows and loves with amazing multifunctionality and outstanding material versatility within one desktop machine, and we want to share that with the world,” continued Makosiewicz.
“We’ve completed a full team of managers able to push us towards global success and expansion of our brand. With Iain and Mateusz on board, our product base can finally get widespread recognition, due to high quality marketing activity and technology backed by many years of experience in industrial context,” said ZMorph’s CEO and founder Przemek Jaworski.
And after all—what’s not to love about a company that favors Led Zeppelin tees over stuffy suits? Rock on, ZMorph.
