A Key Keynote: Carbon’s CEO & Co-Founder to Present Opening Keynote at Inside 3D Printing NY Next Week

While things we can agree on pretty universally are certainly few and far between, one thing is abundantly clear to those watching the 3D printing space: the technology behind Carbon‘s super-fast, highly detailed 3D printing method is a big deal. Released just last week commercially, Carbon’s M1 3D printer features CLIP (Continuous Liquid Interface Production) technology, first revealed last March. Since its emergence from stealth mode last year, we’ve all wanted to know more, more more.

With the M1 now available, along with seven proprietary materials, Carbon’s name is back in front of us, with the technology to back up what we’ve been so excited to see. And it’s just been announced that next week we’ll get to hear even more.

CEO and Co-Founder of Carbon, Dr. Joseph DeSimone, is set to deliver the opening keynote at Inside 3D Printing New York — and I know I’ll be among those gathered that morning at the Javits Convention Center to hear every word he has to say. The conference, put on by Rising Media and already hugely interesting and with an impressive agenda and list of speakers set, has just become that much more highly anticipated.

Dr. DeSimone’s keynote, “A Future Fabricated with Light,” will open the day on Monday, April 11th, at 9:00-10:00 AM. In this keynote, Dr. DeSimone will, notes Rising Media, “provide an overview of the M1 product solution and Carbon’s vision to accelerate the future of manufacturing, enabling creators to think beyond the limitations of convention to design the parts and products that will drive the businesses of the future.”

This keynote will be one of six such standalone presentations exploring opportunities in and challenges for 3D printing across various industries, applications, and sectors. Dr. DeSimone joins the ranks of previously announced keynote speakers including:

Additional speakers at Inside 3D Printing New York will be presenting on the various tracks that may interest event goers throughout the event. We’ve had the opportunity to find out more about what we can expect from speakers including Dr. Sharon Flank of InfraTrac, who will be discussing anti-counterfeiting in 3D printing in the Manufacturing track, and Rachel Gordon of IDTechEx, who will present on opportunities for metal 3D printing in the Metal track.
