XYZprinting Highlights a Host of New 3D Printers at CES 2016, Unveils Wearables & Robotics Too

It’s all coming up roses for XYZprinting lately–and their name is indeed popping up everywhere in the most positive of lights. This is one company that must have a pretty happy team right now as they forge into 2016. From being pointed out as a leader (all over the place) just recently in the 4th Quarter JeeQ Data Report to displaying continued momentum with strong shipmentsnew products, partnerships with entities like Sam’s Club, opening new offices–and even expanding into areas like Thailand, XYZprinting is an excellent business model for other startups in the 3D printing industry to watch–and emulate.

And right now, everyone can get a gander at their latest–and long list–of offerings at the 2016 International Consumer Electronics Show 2016 (CES) in Las Vegas where they’ve just announced a massive plan for new releases in the new year. While they are highlighting a substantial number of printers, it’s not all coming up in 3D, as they begin to make a move into other markets as well.

With goals toward reaching a more economically inclined market, XYZprinting has just announced at CES that some of their new hardware will be comprehensive and affordable, aiming at the mass consumer market with sub-$300 MSRP pricing. Their sample preview at the massive Las Vegas event, ongoing through the week, will include not only a first glimpse, but also demonstrations of many new 3D printers, with a ‘mini’ that will indeed retail under $300. For those looking to branch out, spend more, and enjoy a host of other features, they will also be releasing other commercial-oriented products like wearables, robotics, and more.

“XYZprinting has been assertive in breaking down the technology barriers in the consumer 3D printing market, by introducing easy-to-use devices that deliver innovative experiences to consumers at cost-effective prices,” said Simon Shen, CEO of XYZprinting and New Kinpo Group. “At this year’s CES, we are making an aggressive push in the B2B market by introducing new products and devices to our product ecosystem within and beyond the 3D printing ideology, while continuing the successes we’ve experienced with our accessible 3D printers.”

New products in the consumer 3D printing area will be as follows:

New professional 3D printers are as follows:

New commercial 3D printers are as follows:

In the education sector, XYZprinting will be offering the XYZ STEAM curriculum exchange program, with the goal to integrate 3D printing into classrooms with ease. With the curriculum comes discounted 3D printers as well as numerous teaching tools to promote a relevant skill set in students. The curriculum consists of:

Also meant for the younger designing crowd is the XYZmaker, a 3D modeling app. Compatible with Windows OS, Android, and iOS, it will be released in the second half of this year, allowing for students to edit projects in the classroom. The goal with XYZmaker is to make 3D printing technology more accessible as well as helping to streamline the process from designing to the actual 3D printing.

New 3D printing accessories will also be offered by way of the 3D Pen, expected to retail at $49, and the Nobel Post Curing Machine, which will offer a quick and energy-efficient way to cure resin prints due to an LED lamp cycling quickly around prints–to retail at $299.

Showing off their ventures outside of 3D printing, XYZprinting will also have products on display from their XYZlife and XYZrobot lines, featuring wearables and robots, respectively. Also being previewed is their new Humanoid Robot Line, Bolide, and its new smart life concept, the Smart Service Robot.

If you are attending CES 2016, be sure to check out all of the products at booth #72326 in the Sands Expo Convention Center, Halls A-C, in Las Vegas, January 6-9, 2016.
