We’ve been following not only 3BFAB’s progress across Turkey as they’ve become a major European player, but also their recent designation as a MakerBot Authorized Service Center, along with eight others, all chosen for their expertise in delivering customer service within the 3D printing industry.
Now, adding further to their growing resume of achievement and responsibilities to 3D printing users in Turkey, 3BFAB is entering into a formal partnership with Formlabs. Just announced, 3BFAB will be solidifying the Formlabs presence in Europe–and more specifically, Turkey–with enhanced sales and service to those who are 3D printing with the popular Form 1+ 3D printer.
“We are pleased to offer our customers the best high resolution desktop SLA 3D printer on the market. The Form 1+ brings amazing capabilities for Turkish engineers and designers, reducing their manufacturing and R&D costs,” said 3BFAB Co-Founder and CEO Hakan Güzelgöz.
“We’re excited to partner with 3BFAB to extend greater support to Turkey’s growing creative and manufacturing community. Turkey is a well known emerging manufacturing hub in the East Europe and Middle-East region. 3BFAB is an excellent partner to bring the Form 1+ to Turkish manufacturers,” says Luke Winston, Formlabs Sales & Operations Lead.
Indeed, the makers in Turkey are busy, busy. While it may be one of the oldest settled regions of the world, situated on the Anatolian peninsula, they heartily embrace a very contemporary world with new technology, and we’ve reported on everything from massive 3D printed art installations to a variety of clever 3D printed devices and robotics projects from hobbyists coming out of Turkey recently.
“Formlabs provides the best SLA technology on the market and like us, they strive to provide the utmost service that comes with it. We are very excited about this strong partnership which will enable Turkish companies and engineers to improve their prototyping processes. This partnership comes at a time with a growing demand for high resolution SLA 3D printing in the Turkish market. We can’t wait to see what exciting projects will be achieved,” said 3BFAB’s Güzelgöz.
3BFAB also sells 3D printers from MakerBot, Zortrax, BeeVeryCreative, and Moment. Let us know your thoughts on this partnership in the Formlabs / 3BFAB forum thread on 3DPB.com.
