When ZVerse introduced its LAYR 2D-to-3D app in January, the company sought to make 3D content more accessible for those who wanted to bring their two-dimensional content to the hands-on, three-dimensional attention of clients, customers, and anyone else who might come across their branding. The app has proven to be successful in its 2D-to-3D mission, and the logical next step is expanding its reach.
Today, July 27th, ZVerse has announced the entrance into an agreement with Franchise Services, Inc. (FSI) in order to allow FSI’s franchisees–including those under the PIP, Signal Graphics, and Sir Speedy franchise brands–access to LAYR technology.
“We are thrilled to work with FSI’s full-service printing and marketing franchise locations. Globally, FSI brands have a history of leadership in printing, signs, promotional products and event marketing services. We look forward to adding value to franchisees with our 3D print applications,” said ZVerse’s Chief Marketing Officer, Kevin Maloney.
Through the partnership, the LAYR platform will broaden its scope of use and appeal, while franchisees functioning through FSI will receive the technology they’ve been looking for to create customized materials–and fast.
“Our Franchisees are excited to partner with ZVerse to offer 3D printing services. ZVerse’s easy-to-use LAYR technology enables our franchisees to offer high-value, high-margin custom printed 3D solutions to their customers,” said Kelly Kimberlin, FSI’s Vice President of Business Development. “They will be able to upload a customer’s 2D image file, produce a fully print ready 3D file from LAYR, and have a fully customized 3D printed order, all within a few days. Their 3D print solutions surpass anything in 3D printing we’ve looked at in recent years.”
