The new agreement means HK 3D will immediately begin to offer the complete line of 3D Systems’ 3D printers, perceptual devices, design tools, and materials to customers as part of the company’s integrated 3D printing services.
Steven Wilcox, HK Holdings’ Managing Director, is optimistic regarding the new partnership, particularly in its broad range of offerings.
“We are thrilled to partner with 3D Systems and to offer their entire portfolio of 3D digital design and fabrication solutions,” Wilcox noted. “This gives all of our customers access to the broadest range of 3D tools and technologies on the market, and will help our customers meet the most demanding applications, particularly those in aerospace, automotive and healthcare.”
HK Holdings is a group of companies focused on advanced manufacturing techniques such as 3D printing, laser marking, and electro discharge machining (EDM) processes. The deal through their HK 3D subsidiary, part of HK Technologies, is aimed at broadening the company’s customer offerings and support to the full range of applications in 3D digital fabrication.
Michele Marchesan, Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer for Professional Products at 3DS, says the deal is an obvious fit for both companies.
