Yesterday afternoon a small cap 3D printing company, Tinkerine Studios, which has been trading in Canada (CVE: CA:TTD) for quite a while, began trading here in the U.S under ticker symbol (TKSTF). As a leading Canadian 3D printer manufacturer, Tinkerine has just begun establishing themselves as a supplier of affordable, yet high quality consumer oriented 3D printers, mainly to Canada and the United States.

What could very well make this stock appealing to investors who may be turned off by the larger 3D printer manufacturers, is that with a total market cap of just $9.4 million, there is tremendous room for growth.
Yesterday’s trading activity in the U.S.
The stock (TKSTF) opened yesterday on the U.S. exchanges, just north of $0.34 per share, and closed the day trading at around $0.33 per share. The volume was extremely low, as most of the market was unaware that trading had begun. It will be very interesting to see how the market reacts to Tinkerine Studios, when it opens later this morning.
For those unfamiliar with the company, Tinkerine Studios manufactures and sells three different 3D printers, as well as a wide array of filaments, spare parts, and accessories. Their printers range in in price from $999 for the ‘Litto 3D Printer’, to $1899 for their ‘Ditto Pro 3D Printer’. The company has very recently been making a push into the education space, trying to bring their easy to use 3D printers to classrooms in Canada and the United States.
