SOLS Launches the #SOLSonBowery Pop-up Shop to Creatively Market Their 3D Printed Insoles

solsonSOLS is one of those companies that seems to always have an interesting story to report on. Whether it be the launch of their custom orthotics and insoles back in August of last year, the fact that they’ve raised $6.4 million this past April, or their unique adaptable robotic 3D printed ADAPTIV high-tops, there is never a dull moment for the company. Kegan Schouwenburg, CEO and co-founder of SOLS, always seems to have something innovative and ground-breaking up her sleeve.

Today we learn that Schouwenburg and her team have yet another clever ideas which officially kicks off as of now. It is always nice to see companies come up with unique marketing strategies, but what SOLS has come up with may just top them all. They have officially launched the first ever SOLS pop-up shop, called #SOLSOnBowery in Manhattan’s East Village. Located at 355A Bowery, between 3rd and 4th Street, the shop will be quite the entertainment destination.

Not only will you be able to walk in and have your feet digitally fit for a pair of SOLS via the mobile app, and then have a 3D printed pair of perfectly fitting custom insoles delivered to your door within two weeks, but you will also be able to partake in many scheduled events.

#SOLSOnBowery isn’t just merely a pop-up shop, it is more than that. It is an idea, a movement, and something the company hopes will become empowering to their customers.

“#SOLSOnBowery prompts original thought behind the question: ‘How do you move?’ with its embedded viral campaign – #SOLSOFNYC, a visual and viral narrative featuring the stories of eight real New Yorkers – all of whom live life on their feet,” The company’s PR firm tells 3DPrint.com. “The #SOLSOFNYC campaign invites viewers to immerse themselves into the aspirational stories of each individual while being inspired to move through the streets of NYC, empowered to live their lives better.”

These stories will be part of the entertainment at the pop-up shop, but it certainly won’t end there. Visitors will be able to take a break from the daily grind, and enjoy other complimentary events such as Martini Mondays with Grey Goose Vodka, massages, yoga, pedicures and more. There will be DJs and other entertainers on hand, providing for a relaxing atmosphere and encouraging visitors to try getting fitted for a pair of SOLS. Some of the upcoming events include:

The pop-up shop will be open now through May 31, Monday – Friday between 11:00am and 7:00pm and Saturday and Sunday between 10:00am – 6:00pm. What do you think? Have you had the opportunity to experience #SOLSOnBowery? Discuss in the SOLOnBowery forum thread on 3DPB.com.
