Amazingly, Every Letter of the Alphabet & Every Number is Depicted in This 3D Printed Pendant

One thing that I have noticed over the past year is what I call the 3D-ified versions of previously 2-dimensional objects coming about through the use of 3D printing technology. This can be seen by the huge number of memes that have suddenly become 3D characters, available to purchase on websites such as Shapeways. They include Grumpy Cat, Sad Keanu Reeves, Doge, Heavy Breathing Cat, and dozens of others.

In addition, just a few weeks ago, we reported on the 3D printing of the “Impossible Triangle,” which gave a new kind of life to a previously 2-dimensional optical illusion of sorts. In fact, it actually became “possible” once 3D printed (sort of).

Now, Eric Ho, Social Media Specialist at Shapeways, has teamed with designer Kostika Spaho to turn a previously popular internet sensation into a 3D printed pendant, which is available for purchase by anyone.

“‘The Monogram Of The Alphabet’ was a gif that went viral a few years ago that I came across again a few weeks ago,” Ho tells 3DPrint.com. “It’s pretty trippy, and as you can see it contains all of the letters of the alphabet and all of the numerals (0-9). “

Reminding me of those puzzles you would have to complete in grade-school, “The Monogram of the Alphabet” is certainly something that anyone could spend hours staring at. All 26 letters of the alphabet and all 10 numbers are found in the monogram, as you can see in the image above, although at first glance it appears impossible. It would make the perfect gift for that puzzle lover in your family.
