3D Printing Resources: Stratasys Offers Four New Free White Papers for Download

At 3DPrint.com, we’ve been working to introduce more and more helpful educational resources alongside daily news and industry insights about 3D printing. These resources include white papers from partners including Stratasys and Formlabs about subjects such as thermoforming, injection molding, and how 3D printing can work with traditional manufacturing. Currently, Stratasys has not one but four white papers available for download – for free.

The first, entitled “Be a Consumer Brand Standout,” examines what leading brands are doing to stand out among the large crowd of competing projects.

About 3,000 new consumer goods are launched every year, and a consumer is exposed to thousands of items in just one half-hour shopping trip. How to these consumers decide what to buy out of all of these choices? It all comes down to packaging, and this white paper offers insight on how leading companies draw consumers in, and how using 3D printed multi-color, multi-material prototypes helps them gain a competitive edge with more design freedom and speed to market.

Another white paper, called “Shaping the Talent of Tomorrow,” looks at additive manufacturing and how it has impacted industries over the last 30 years – and, more importantly, how it is impacting them now and will in the future.

3D printing has found a place in just about every industry and is shaping innovation all over the world, and this paper details how the technology has expanded and adapted as the industries depending on it continue to improve and innovate. Learn the ways in which additive manufacturing is playing a key role by providing the tools to streamline and enhance the product creation process.

Third, “The Road Ahead” teaches you how to speed designs to market with advanced 3D printing technology.

It will address some of the challenges that come with advanced 3D printing, such as the fabrication of interiors and lighting lens covers in automotive applications, for example. Readers will learn how to capitalize on 3D printing to innovate, customize, iterate and stay ahead of the curve. This white paper shares knowledge about how to keep pace with prototypes using color, transparency, multiple materials and textures.

Finally, “A Revolution in Design” invites you to open up new possibilities for your business by changing the way you think about product development.

It will discuss how 3D printing, compared to traditional manufacturing methods, offers advantages that allow you to make better products and get them to market faster. In this white paper, you will learn how to accelerate the design process, improve design effectiveness, and reduce product design costs.

There is a wealth of information contained in each of these white papers, and they can be downloaded at no cost simply by filling out a quick form with a few brief pieces of information. Check out one or all of them to learn how 3D printing can make a difference in your business – whether you’ve never used it before and want to start, or you’ve been using it for a while and want to learn how you can better leverage the technology to your advantage.
