PrintLab Releases Educational Bundles to Get 3D Printing Started in Classrooms

For teachers who are looking to incorporate 3D printing into their classrooms for the first time, starting out can be a daunting challenge. There’s a lot you need – not only a 3D printer but materials, a curriculum and, of course, knowledge. PrintLab, supplier of 3D printing products to schools and businesses, took care of the curriculum part recently with the introduction of PrintLab Classroom, an online portal that provides teachers with 3D printing-related lesson plans. Now PrintLab is offering everything an educator needs to get started with 3D printing in a series of packages called PrintLab Start, PrintLab Innovate and PrintLab Educate.

It’s widely agreed upon by educators and those in the 3D printing field that it’s extremely important to educate today’s children about 3D printing, and the sooner the better. There are still schools, however, for which 3D printing isn’t a focus, whether that’s for financial reasons or for a lack of teachers educated on the subject. PrintLab has worked hard to fill in those gaps, providing schools and teachers with everything they need to introduce students to 3D printing, or even give them a more advanced education, for a reasonable price. The release of the Education Packages was meant to coincide with the release of PrintLab Classroom, which arrived earlier this month.
