MakerBot has been keen on further developing the MakerBot Digital Store as of late, as they have released several interesting models. In fact, just last week they announced that they will be releasing a series of models targeted towards education, with each new collection they release including one model which is completely free. Last week, they launched the ‘Structures of Government’ collection which featured The White House, The Capital, and The Supreme Court building.
Here we are exactly a week later, and the company has just announced the release of three additional 3D models which make up their ‘Storied Skulls’ collection.
Available in this collection are a saber-toothed cat skull, ram skull, and the mythical dragon skull. Just like last week, one of these, the saber-toothed cat skull is free to download and print out on your MakerBot Replicator machine. The other two models will cost $7.99 a piece. Saber-toothed Cat

The measurements on all three of these skulls are rather large as you can see above, so they are not just little dinky toys. Instead they are fairly large models which can be displayed in your child’s bedroom, and used as learning tools, or in the case of the dragon, a story telling tool.
