Rising Media to Launch Frontier Tech Forum in San Diego December 14-15

If you’ve ever attended a big conference or tradeshow that caters directly to your interests, then you are aware of the almost overwhelming amount of stimulation provided as you are able to learn everything—and then some—that you may have ever wanted to know about manufacturers you are familiar with, as well as checking out new products and hearing from new startups around the world. If 3D printing and other peripheral technologies are your passion then you probably already know about worldwide conferences—such as Inside 3D Printing, RoboUniverse, and the Virtual Reality Summit.

Now, Rising Media has announced these three conferences will be launched together as the Frontier Tech Forum, allowing for innovations around the world to be properly accelerated, as well as encouraging and further enhancing business successes in a wide range of relevant industries.

The three conferences on their own merits are as follows:

“With the launch of the Frontier Tech Forum brand, we’re excited to offer innovators across a myriad of industries the opportunity to exchange ideas and establish powerful strategic alliances that will contribute deeply to the future of technology,” said Adam Kahn, Chief Operating Officer, Rising Media.

“By offering attendees the opportunity to seamlessly explore 3D printing, robotics, and virtual reality at one event, we aim to break down barriers and encourage invention and innovation that highlights these industries’ synergies. We look forward to seeing what the next frontier of innovation brings.”

Workshops will also be offered on December 13th. Additionally featured in this event, on the 14th, is the Frontier Tech Showdown. This is a highly anticipated pitch competition allowing eight new startups in 3D printing, robotics, and VR to bring forth their ideas and innovations as they compete for a $15,000 Uncapped SAFE courtesy of Asimov Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm investing in 3D printing and robotics. Visit the Frontier Tech Showdown to apply to compete—the deadline for entry is this Friday, October 21. Selections will be announced November 15. And there will also be another exciting event going on with the Frontier Tech Hackathon.
