The success of the RoVa3D has led the company to expand their scope. Today, they have announced the launching of yet another Kickstarter campaign, this time for a new 3D printer, the Rova-Paste.
The Rova Paste is the first fully assembled paste/food 3D printer on the market for under $1000 CAD. Basically what the company has done, is take the platform of the RoVa3D, then they reconfigured and combined it with a paste extruding system
The system is very simply, meaning it will likely last quite a long time. Ord Solutions claims to “overbuild” their machines in order to ensure their longevity. Whether you are looking to print with icing, Nutella, clay based materials, or caulk, the options are literally endless.
“You can start playing the “Will it print?” game,” explained the company. “The point is that if you run out of material you can literally go to the 7-11 @ midnight and buy 20 different materials there for very little money that you can extrude with this printer!!!”
Below are some of the specifications of the Rova-Paste 3D Printer:
- Build Envelope: 11.18″ x 11.88″ x 7.55″
- Printer Footprint (LxWxH): 15″ x 10.75″ x 17.5″Z
