F & B Rapid Production Announces Large MetalBro300 Line of 3D Printers

Bigger is better. That’s at least what many 3D printer manufacturers seem to believe, and in many cases they are in fact correct. Larger printers naturally allow for an increase in the number of applicable uses, giving users more bang for their buck. As long as resolution and quality of the prints are not sacrificed for size, then bigger almost always is better.

One Berlin based company, founded just over five months ago, F & B Rapid Productions, certainly seems to feel this way as well. This week they’ve announced an entire line of brand new, large-scale FDM 3D printers. The printers, which include the MetalBro300S, MetalBro300C and MetalBro300P, all feature large build envelopes of 300x300x200mm and greater. Below are the details of these three new machines.

MetalBro300S
This is the entry-level model. It features a single extruder, and comes in kit form only. The kit comes complete with everything needed to build this printer, besides the outside panels, which are not required for the printer to function. The estimated assembly time is between two to four hours, and it requires only screwing of parts and simple wiring, using the included connectors. No soldering or drilling is necessary. MetalBro300C
This printer comes fully assembled, and already calibrated. It features dual extruders, allowing for prints of multiple colors, as well as filament types. It also has a larger build envelope than the MetalBro300S, and comes with painted steel panels, protecting much of the build area. Below you will find the specifications of this printer:

MetalBro300P
This is the fully equipped version of the MetalBro line of printers. In addition to including all the features of the MetalBro300c, this printer also features a customized logo in place of the MetalBro logo, a mini-pc which comes equipped with pre-installed software for easy control of this machine, an LED illuminated build envelope, and two rolls of complementary printer filament.
