A newer startup, founded in 2012 and headquartered in Nibionno, Italy, Sharebot stays in the news continually, following a dynamic game plan to make substantial contributions to the world of 3D printing. And we’ve been following them–and keeping an eye on their progress with the SnowWhite for well over a year now, and into the last few months as they’ve progressed to a system that prints not only in nylon and nylon blends, but even sugar. As they worked on improving all the processes of this new 3D printer that has been in the functioning stages at least since spring, the official release price is €35K.
With the goal to allow anyone to be able to 3D print intricate, high-resolution objects, Sharebot is putting out a 3D printer that, as the Sharebot team says, has passed through “some very crucial moments.” First, they released the Sharebot SnowWhite candidate release version, and then the printer’s beta-testing program, just before heading into production with the new machine which will begin shipping out in January of 2016.
