To celebrate this union between TurboSquid and 3D Hubs, TurboSquid is releasing a model theme from the Discovery Channel’s Shark Week. Shark Week occurred earlier this summer, and the Discovery Channel has made models from this program available for downloading. These shark models are incredibly detailed and are 3D printed in full color, and 3D Hubs currently has 250 3D printers available to print them. This is the first of other planned theme collections in the works from TurboSquid’s library, so be on the lookout for those collection releases, as well.
This collection features sharks, whales, and large fish — perfect for marine life fans, or students and children obsessed with large sea creatures. Beautiful colored maps are also available.
Stay tuned to see what other projects are in the works now that 3D Hubs has joined forces with another online 3D model platform to provide even more options for 3D print artists and the customers who love them. Discuss this partnership in the 3D Hubs / Turbosquid forum thread on 3DPB.com.
