“This is an exciting time for mostfun,” Lvzhou Chen, CEO of mostfun, told 3DPrint.com, “and we’re eager to make the most advanced 3d printer for the world today. Mostfun pro gives better remote printing and web based capabilities, unique mobile features, better quality and experience than has been available by any other printer, and we are excited to see what people will create with it.”
The mostfun Pro features high-precision capabilities, as can be seen in this precision test provided by the company:

The early success of the campaign means that the mostfun Pro will certainly be funded–now the only remaining question is just how high the campaign will reach. The earliest bird packages have already been snapped up, with 50 backers promised to have their machines before Christmas.
Since the campaign has already proven to be successful, the mostfun team are seeking to reward backers, with surprise rewards and stretch goals appearing. Now, for every additional $50K CAD pledged to the campaign, the team will select three backers (at the $750+ pledge levels) to receive $100 off their price. If there’s anything better than a well-priced machine with good quality capabilities, it’s a surprise discount on that machine!
In addition, if the campaign keeps growing and hits $250K, every backer pledging $750+ will receive a free tool kit with their backing. Including a wood chisel sert, two colors of spray paints and two colors of water-based paint, a brush, a dust mask, and sandpaper, makers will be ready to get going on some great post-processing work as soon as their very first creation comes off the print bed.
The mostfun Pro’s capabilities seem promising, and the backers seem to agree. So far, 163 backers have pledged enough to ensure the success of the campaign. We’ll look forward to seeing just how far they get–and then to hearing about how the Intel Edison-containing mostfun Pro performs once it’s in makers’ hands.
