A few months back an Italian company called Dynamo3D launched their D3D One 3D Printer. Reasonably priced for a larger scale printer which was fully equipped at €1139.50, Dynamo3D thought that they could still do better.
In order to lessen some of the speed issues within the world of 3D printing, Dynamo3D has just announced their new D3D One Evo 3D printer, which they will officially be
- Printer Size: 38x44x45 cm
- Printer Weight: 13kg – Shipping weight [23kg]
- Filament Diameter: 2.85mm
- Nozzle Diameter: 0.4mm
- Filament Types: ABS / PLA / FLEX and prepared for other materials
- Color Availability: WhiteOrange – MultiDrops – Caleido – GreenHexagon – WhiteGreen – MultiForms – and many more
- Software: RealVision D3D
- Max Build Volume: 24 x 24 x 25cm
Once unveiled publicly in September, the company expects to begin offering the machines via pre-order at a price of €1,900. It will be interesting to see if other companies, by that time, can adapt their technologies to print at speeds in excess of 400mm/s, or if the D3D One Evo will lead the pack upon launch. Needless to say, such an improvement should at least add a little bit of pressure to some of the larger companies out there as the holiday season will soon be upon us.
