Over the past several months we have seen dozens of new 3D printer manufacturers launch crowdfunding campaigns in order to raise funds for their new hardware. We have seen cheap 3D printers, priced as low as $249 (not taking into account early backer prices), to more expensive, but very high quality 3D printers that target the prosumers. We have seen the vast majority of these 3D printers all reach their funding goals, many in a matter of minutes.
Today a company called CraftUnique has launched an Indiegogo campaign for the CraftBot 3D Printer. The first 100 backers can get this machine for only $399, while the remaining backers will be able to acquire it for approximately $100 more.
CraftUnique isn’t attempting to bring to market the “cheapest” 3D printer, like many other companies have been aiming to do. Intead their goal is to bring a very affordable, yet high quality product to market that anyone can use. The CraftBot comes shipped completely assembled, and it is ready to be used right out of the box. It is compatible with all third party filaments, and features a build volume of 10,000 cubic cm.

The CraftBot also comes with CraftUnique’s special CraftWare 3D printing software, which aims at making the process of 3D printing as easy as possible. It is also compatible with other third party softwares. Check out the video of the CraftWare software below:
CraftBot truly feels that their printer is the best hardware on the market today, at the $399 – $499 price, which they are asking for on Indiegogo. Here is a chart comparing it with other well known 3D printers.
CraftUnique plans on starting delivery of these 3D printers in August, to the early backers, and then gradually delivering the others over the next 4 months. The sooner you back it, the sooner you will get your 3D printer.
