That’s definitely a gap needing a bridge. And CGTrader has one. Putting together the wide variety of projects with designers, they created 3D Jobs for the sole purpose of connecting creativity with commerce. Even putting their logo up on the block as a job for grabs, CGTrader is inspired to see that the thousands of designers and available jobs out there can come together in an organized effort.
”With the rapidly growing demand in virtual reality and 3D printing industries, we’re seeing a significant increase in specialized 3D jobs listings, targeting designers with a clearly defined skill set and work experience,” Julija Semionova, Marketing Project Manager at CGTrader, told 3DPrint.com.
“When previously companies had to spend hours and hours of their time just hopping from one freelancers platform to another, posting project briefs and hoping to find someone who knows what they’re doing, now they can find thousands of professional 3D designers under one roof,” Semionova went on to tell 3DPrint.com. “We’ve rebuilt our 3D Jobs system and its sharper and more focused than ever. We believe it will connect businesses and 3D designers in a way that hasn’t been possible before.”
Designers are able to go into 3D Jobs, check listings by specific formats, filtering out items not of interest, and then track all applications and work deadlines on the user-friendly dashboard.
“It is the easiest way to be found,” states the CGTrader team. “Think of it as LinkedIn for 3D professionals–and the best spot to sort through the latest job listings filtering them by type, software, budget, client’s reputation, and so on. With their portfolio already sitting on the platform, it’s hard to see why they wouldn’t want to shake the money tree.”
The business clients are able to streamline the process for themselves by creating a specific job listing. They can contact private parties upon seeing that they look suitable for the position and go from there without wasting weeks in the office interviewing. The 3D Jobs dashboard allows them to check on the status of projects, see what advertisements they have going, as well as offering a workspace to share files, discuss project scopes, and then when all is said and done, rate the designer and leave kind words when merited.
This is a platform that CGTrader already had in existence, but they’ve tweaked it to get the ball rolling in a more streamlined way so that at the end of day–everything is in the process of getting done–and all individuals involved are walking away happy. As the CG Trader team states,”It’s where the clever professionals from both worlds mingle. No strings attached.”
