In the latest from the company, Shining 3D has announced that its Einstart-L has obtained Underwriters Laboratories (UL) safety certification and will be entering into the US and European markets.
The UL certifications were issued June 5th for the Einstart-L 3D printer, and were announced at the Third World 3D Printing Technology Industry Conference & Expo.
The UL and cUL certifications affirm that the Einstart-L has passed tests under UL 60950 and is a safe machine. The worldwide recognition of UL certification will certainly help this Chinese company as it continues to expand its global reach.
“As technology products change constantly, UL continually develops and improves on its standards, in order to gate-keep on the safety issues of new technology,” noted Vice President of UL’s Digital Manufacturing Technologies Division Simin Zhou. “While the new products are able to provide consumers with new surprises and lifestyle conveniences, we hope that they can also be assured in terms of being able to safely use them. Furthermore, UL certification can help Chinese brands build confidence in the international market, and be recognized by global consumers. “

This certification ensures that machines such as the Einstart-L are safe for regular home use, easing the minds of consumers throughout the globe with the highly recognizable UL name behind it.
The Einstart-L is Shining 3D’s second-generation desktop 3D printer. The FFF-based machine can print a maximum size of 310 x 220 x 200 mm.
