EcubMaker Introduces New, Robust Fantasy Pro II 3D Printer

As we have seen thus far, much of the innovation within the 3D printing space has taken place in the western part of the world, with the East, namely Asia contributing substantially to the market but from more of a quantity standpoint. With that said, lately we’ve been finding that a number of unique 3D printers have actually been emerging from Asia, as countries like China begin to realize the importance of innovation, intellectual property, and the ability to set themselves apart from the ever growing number of competitors entering the market.

This seems to be the case with one company, Jinhua EcubMaker 3D Technology CO., Ltd., located in the Binhong Pioneer Park District, in the Zhejiang Province of China. The company has been selling desktop machines for a while now within the Chinese market, namely their EcubMaker Fantasy, but the sales manager for the company, Ada Fang, informed 3DPrint.com this morning that they are looking to expand abroad, and are doing so with the introduction of their brand new EcubMaker Fantasy Pro II 3D printer.

This latest machine, which is incredibly sleek and feature-rich, has just opened for pre-orders. In fact, the company is so confident in this product that they have had Andreas Bastian, a 3D Printing Research Scientist at Autodesk, perform a comprehensive evaluation of the product. In doing so, the company received a 5 out of 5 star rating for ‘Dimensional Accuracy,’ ‘Overhang Performance,’ and ‘Fine Positive Features Performace.’ For the categories of ‘Bridging Performance,’ and ‘Negative Space Tolerance,’ Bastain gave the machine 4 out of 5 stars.

So, what does this printer have to offer specification wise? Have a look below:

The Fantasy Pro II features dual extruders expanding its capability, allowing for multi-material and multi-color prints, while also offering several key features which set it apart from other machines currently on the market. This printer features a Lug machine activated carbon circulation filter system, which filters the air within the build chamber while also helping to cool the extruded filament at a faster pace. Combined with the fully enclosed aluminum alloy shell, an intuitive touchscreen interface, and a full 9,360 cm3 build volume, this 3D printer seems to be worth the price of 9,990¥ (approximately $1608.46) that the company is currently pre-selling it for. The pre-sale launched just this last week and will run until June 15th.

Let us know if you have pre-ordered this new machine and what your thoughts are once it arrives. Have you purchased any other printers from EcubMaker in the past? Discuss in the EcubMaker Fantasy Pro II forum thread on 3DPB.com.
