This is the address used when one bitcoin user wishes to send funds to another user — a process that can be completely anonymous. As you likely know if you have ever used bitcoin, each address is a complicated series of letters and numbers, nearly impossible for the majority of us to memorize. Carrying along a QR code which represents this number in a users wallet is a way many people deal with this complexity.
The idea started out as one which simply aimed to create custom necklaces featuring QR codes of virtually any data a customer would want, such as a phone number, a simple text message, or a URL, but the idea of creating a bitcoin wallet on a necklace is one which may gain quite a bit of interest from the bitcoin community.
